The ASE A2 Automatic Transmission/Transaxle course is an online training program focused on the knowledge areas covered on the ASE A2 exam. It helps you understand how modern automatic transmissions and transaxles operate, how to recognize common drivability and shifting problems, and how this system fits into day-to-day shop work.
This training helps you prepare for the ASE A2 exam and build skills you can show to employers. It is not an ASE certification by itself.
When you complete all required modules and earn a passing score on the course assessments, you’ll receive a Certificate of Completion for ASE A2 Automatic Transmission/Transaxle Training. You can include this on your resume and bring it to employers to show that you’ve successfully completed structured training aligned with the ASE A2 exam.
This certificate demonstrates your effort and training; ASE certification still requires passing the official ASE exam and meeting ASE’s work experience requirements.
